Geoff Lawson appointed Pakistan Cricket Coach

Well after Pakistan cricket team resisted appointment of no non-sense Dave Whatmore, who has a considerable international experience and of coaching South Asian teams, Geoff Lawson has been appointed Pakistan cricket Coach.

It is very interesting and regardless of Lawson’s commitment and professionalism, he has never coached an international side.

He needs to be an authoritative coach and hopefully he will break the myth of an easy-going person. Technical coaching or not this team needs tough discipline which is the foremost reason of its wayward performance in the past.
