Timo Glock conspires to handover F1 GP Championship to Lewis Hamilton

November 2, 2008

Well the Brazilian GP is over and without sounding too negative, it must be said that the sudden powering down of Timo Glock car in the last lap was very fishy.

Addendum: One has to have a look at the sector timings specially last two as I am still not sold that Timo played it fairly.

Nothing must be taken away from Lewis Hamilton and Philipe Massa who both competed brilliantly and it was one of the most exciting F1 championship in the recent times.

Yes, I thought it was very strange indeed – I’ve never seen anything like that happen just yards from the end of the race. But it was a fantastic race, wasn’t it!! Well done Hamilton!!

Very fishy!!!!! Clearly, how do you drop off the pace with 2 corners left!!! Even though Hamilton deserved it, very bizzare…Should be looked into..Communications between Toyota and McLaren at any point

I thought it was fishy too – but after looking through various reports it seems that it was genuine and that the rain had come down v heavy on last lap- so Glock on slips was like a hockey puck on an ice rink – this interview with Glock seems to prove it – key is his comment that his pace was actually faster than Trulli who was only other person on Dry tyres

Lewis is a talented driver.I do not think that Lewis did something
wrong.Timo Glock car was very slow on the last lap thanks to
its tires that did not perform well on the wet road.
Lewis will be even better the next season.
